As Coordinator of Design and Innovation at Griffin Glass, I led the development of a new pipeline that transforms images into highly textured glass tiles for both interior and exterior applications.

By using machine learning algorithms to analyze a single image and estimate the distance of each pixel from the camera, the model generates highly detailed 3D textures. These are then upscaled to 8K resolution, ensuring the final product retains its tactile quality without compromise.

Not only is this the first product line from Judson Studios—a 128-year-old glass atelier—but it also explores the role of AI in a traditionally handcrafted industry, bridging advanced technology with the artistry of glassmaking.
